BSF Highlights

The Villages Charter School completed its 24th year and The Villages High School (VHS) celebrated its 19th graduating class in May, 2024. See a review of the accomplishments of VHS graduates and the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation (BSF) below:

  • 2,967 students have graduated from VHS (2005-2024)
  • 2,304 VHS graduates attended a post-secondary institution or the military (77.65%)
  • Most VHS graduates who attended college (2,109 / 80.41%) have attended post-secondary / higher education in Florida
  • Total # of degrees (1,749)
  • Total # 1,440 of VHS graduates given a BSF scholarship
  • Total BSF funds awarded = $3,027,740
  • VHS Graduates have attended post-secondary in 49 of the 50 states in the USA and 4 foreign countries
  • BSF administration & overhead costs for the past 4 years were at 1.3% of BSF revenue
  • All graduating seniors from VHS will receive a post-secondary scholarship from BSF as part of the “Buffalo Promise”
